Girl this time. We have:
Annabelle
Nancy
Florence
Lydia
Mabel

We have the most common surname (have name changed for this). And we live in Australia (not sure why that matters!Confused)

We have a Max and a Mabel in our family.

One of them is a dog, however.

Annabelle - I love Annabel but Annabelle seems overly frilly to me
Nancy - I don't get the love for Nancy at all sorry
Florence - love it, also love nns Florrie and Flossie
Lydia - also love it
Mabel - i adore Mabel

All great choices other than Nancy

A few other suggestions

Martha
Norah
Eleanore
Edith

Uela!

DonkeysDontRideBicycles · 20/03/2018 18:29

Annabelle from your list.

I was going to suggest Sienna or Carrie.

Annabelle and Florence are lovely names
Really don’t like Mabel it’s such a dull name.
Nancy is too American for my liking
Lydia is ok but reminds me too much of Lydia in Pride and prejudice who was a horrible character.

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 20/03/2018 19:46

Max, Hugo and Nancy.

Sprinklesinmyelbow · 20/03/2018 19:48

Love your boys names and most of your girls choices (think Lydia is dull though) my favourites are Annabelle, Florence and Nancy.

MerryMarigold · 20/03/2018 21:28

Hate Mabel
Like Nancy but doesn't chop with Hugo and Max
Dislike Annabel, too girly and even worse soaked with 'belle'
Florence and Lydia are good but don't think Lydia goes with boys names. It's biblical unlike your boy names.

I love Felicity rather a lot as going with other names and just a great strong name.

RottweilerOnDuty · 20/03/2018 21:43

Lydia!

Forflipssake2 · 21/03/2018 09:08

Love Florence nn Flo
Ivy also goes well with boys names

TJsAunt · 21/03/2018 09:37

v similar name taste to me.

Love Annabel / Annabelle and like all the others apart from Nancy. Mabel is v nice - could be shortened to Maisie for a little girl?

Mabel works best - great name
Otherwise you could consider Matilda which works equally well imo

Snowysky20009 · 22/03/2018 10:02

Max, Hugo and Kitty.

DarkRoomDarren · 22/03/2018 11:01

I think Florence ‘goes’ best with your boys’ names (which are lovely btw). But I prefer Mabel or Nancy. I especially love Mabel.

ToesInWater · 22/03/2018 12:26

Definitely Nancy from your list (but I am re-reading Kate Atkinson's "Life after Life" at the moment). If you read it you might want to consider Ursula 😊

MadMaryBoddington · 22/03/2018 18:13

Lydia or Mabel

marchblossom · 24/03/2018 08:04
