Middle name for Ella that ISN'T Grace, Rose or May?

Dc2 due in 4 weeks and unsure of sex. We really like Ella for a girl but are totally stuck for a middle name.
I don't really like all the names that seem to he used as middle names for everything (grave, may, rose are the ones that spring to mind) however we do want something that flows.
I really like Ella Nicole however Nicole is dh sisters middle name and he doesn't get on with her very well so isn't keen!
Any other suggestions? I don't like things that end in the same 'a' sound which rules out the likes of 'Olivia' etc.
Thanks

If your not picking anything that means something to you then why bother choosing a middle name anyway?

I wasnt going to have a middle name for mine but now using my great grandads name as a way to honour him.

I like Celeste or eve.

Madmarchpear · 17/03/2018 21:52

Oooo that's tricky. I think because Ella is so commonly a middle it seems a bit back to front.

More substantial trad names seem a bit odd. Will follow to see if anybody cracks it! Good luck.

Francis sounds lovely

WhyTheHeckMe · 17/03/2018 21:54

@Dvg - ds1 has a middle name (that does have family meaning as it's my brothers name) so doesn't seem right not giving dc2 a middle name.
I didnt realise it was meant to 'mean something'. My dad ended up switching his first and middle names around when he reached adulthood as he preferred his middle name. My middle name also had no family relevance

Thank you for the other suggestions :)

Its not supposed to mean something, i never said it did.. i just simply asked why bother having a middle name. If its just because you want her to have one then fair enough.
