How popular is Alice? Do you know of any babies called Alice?

I loved this name but when my father in law sang who the f is Alice to me a few times I decided not to go with it!

My friends dh sang it to me, soon shut him up with a chorus of Gordon is a moron though

I think it's a nice solid traditional name, but it's very popular in my area now, and perhaps a little bland. A very safe choice, kind of like Emma or Sarah were in the 80s - hard to dislike, but equally hard to get excited about.

We used it as a middle name because although I love it, I couldn’t get away from Alice the camel and who the fuck is Alice?

There’s also “Living Next Door to Alice”.

To be honest, i’ve been an Alice for over 40 years. None of these songs have really ever troubled me much! Despite having the same surname as a famous singing Alice. Alice the Camel is quite amusing to my Cub pack though.

My dd is named Alice after the sisters of Mercy song and her great grandma

I’ve only known a few adults named Alice but have found them all very smug. Totally put me off.
