At the risk of sounding like a snob, a bit chavvy?

namechangefriday · 09/02/2018 11:47

Reminds me of just awful things now sadly

123MothergotafleA · 09/02/2018 11:49

Yea, Bellfield here too. Not good.

metalmum15 · 09/02/2018 11:51

It makes me think of my dc favourite anime character. Or a pair of jeans.

Meemzinha · 09/02/2018 12:05

Love it! Always have, always will Smile

Sparklesdontshine · 09/02/2018 12:08

Very chavy

anonteacher1 · 09/02/2018 12:08

Ridiculously chavvy.

BigSandyBalls2015 · 09/02/2018 12:12

Yep Levi bellfield springs to mind immediately.

Loulou0 · 09/02/2018 12:18

It sounds like a name for a bull terrier.

GlubGlubGlub · 09/02/2018 12:22

Awful. It’s the name of a violent serial killer and rapist.

ChocolateCrunch · 09/02/2018 14:36

Don't like it at all, never have.

Countingsheeeep · 09/02/2018 14:39

You lost me after "Cosmopolitan upper middle class artistic family" 🤣

Oooooook then

floriad · 09/02/2018 14:43

I like it.
But Idk whether it's the right name for "cosmopolitan upper middle class artistic family" ;)

Judashascomeintosomemoney · 09/02/2018 14:44

Well OP, I thought Levi Stubbs first and then I thought, ‘didn’t Paul Young call his daughter Levi (actually after Levi Stubbs I think). So not everyone is thinks the same. Purely as a name, with no connotations, I like it.

GummyGoddess · 09/02/2018 14:58

The person who got Bristol Palin pregnant, so teenage pregnancy as well as serial killer and jeans, sorry.

SinisterBumFacedCat · 09/02/2018 15:01

Jeans
Murderer
Inside Number 9

BevBrook · 09/02/2018 15:02

I have never heard of Levi Bellfield - I think of Levi Stubbs, Levi Roots and "Reuben was the eldest of the children of Israel, with Simeon and Levi the next in line." And the jeans.

I don't know if any of that helps or not Grin

ForgivenessIsDivine · 09/02/2018 15:03

Levi was a tax collector...

TheFirstMrsDV · 09/02/2018 15:07

Its a great name.
Strong with character.

MNers get very spiteful about names they don't like. They seem incapable of saying 'don't like it' and have to force everyone else to hate it too.

Which is weird.

If you like the name use it. Don't be a sheep

LastOneDancing · 09/02/2018 15:09

Levi always reminds me of East 17's dog.
But I'm very old.

I'm a middle class person who is very adept with play-doh and felt tips if that lends any weight to my opinion?

GummyGoddess · 09/02/2018 15:36

If we all just said 'No, don't like it' then op would ask why @TheFirstMrsDV I'm not trying to be spiteful.

MaidenMotherCrone · 09/02/2018 15:44

I’ve known 2.
1 was the kindest, sweetest Santa look-a-like. A really lovely gentleman.
2 is 6ft, 21, hair down to his waist, built like a Viking god. Has older women throwing themselves at him (embarrassing). He is a lovely young man. I just happen to be his mother.

Those are who I think of.

TheFirstMrsDV · 09/02/2018 15:46

I would say calling a name 'chavvy' is pretty spiteful
