Scottish boy shortlist

I'm 38 weeks and we're still to decide on a name from our list. We love all of them so just want honest opinions on what you think of (if anything) when you hear them! Any suggestions are welcome and bonus points for cute nicknames!

I like Fraser and Lochlan

I love Struan!

Hamish is my all time favourite Scottish boys name though. I also like Angus and Malcolm

I know it's not on your list but I've always loved Angus.
Lockie (even as a nickname) sounds more suitable for a pet than a child. But I do like Lachlan.

Fraser is my favourite from your list but my favourite Scottish name is Keir

Out of the ones on the list I like Fraser. Dougal reminds me of Magic Roundabout and Father Ted...but I really like Dougie as a nickname.

I agree with another poster suggestion of Arran as opposed to Aaron. Amazing how a slight change in spelling alters everything!
