I like both. Not a big fan of Winnie as a nn (just personal preference) so in that case, I prefer Indie Violet.

Winter Rose sounds like a scented candle.
Indie Violet like pp says as in Indigo Violet.
I agree Indie or India Rose is lovely.

Winter Rose sounds like a cheap scent/product description.

But, subjectively, I like Winnie more than Indie, so I'd still vote Winter Rose.

I like Indie Violet. To me, Winter is not a name. But ultimately it’s not the worst name ever and it’s your baby.

Indigo Violet sounds like you'll be following up with Papa Foxtrot. Not that Indigo or Violet feature in the phonetic alphabet, just sounds like it.

Love both but Winter Rose is my favourite.. although twinkles suggestion of Winter Violet is absolutely beautiful.

Must agree with pps though, Winnie is awful so I personally wouldn't shorten a gorgeous name like Winter to Winnie!
