I really love Olivia and Isabella but worried they're so popular - I've thought about Tessa too but not sure if it's thought of as a nice name, as nice as Olivia and Isabella

So what are your choices from my list??

Olivia
Isabella
Or Tessa (thoughts on Tessa pls!)

Thanks so much!!

Tessa.

MedicinalGin · 25/12/2017 16:56

Love tessa. Olivia and Isabella are lovely too but tessa has the edge I think.

Joinourclub · 25/12/2017 18:39

Tessa

eastlondoner · 25/12/2017 18:41

Oh I really dislike Tessa!

gonnabreakmyrustycage · 25/12/2017 18:41

I like Isobel or Isabel, a bit like Isabella but slightly "cooler".

Tessa is lovely too. What about Tess?

TheDailyMailIsADisgustingRag · 25/12/2017 18:41

Tessa is a great name!

Olivia and Isabella are so popular where I live. I’m not into picking the craziest name out there, just to be different, but I am definitely put off Olivia and Isabella by their popularity. They’ve lost all meaning to me as I hear it so much. Like repeating the same word over and over again until it loses all meaning!

calzone · 25/12/2017 18:46

I like Olivia but prefer the variations of Livvi, Livia and Via.

Amy106 · 25/12/2017 19:31

Tessa is lovely-a little different but in a good way. Olivia and Isabella are quite common here but still nice.

XmasTreeOhXmasTree · 25/12/2017 20:14

Tessa 100%

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 25/12/2017 20:30

Tessa, love it ! 😄❤️

mondler · 25/12/2017 20:34

I love Tessa.

Nothing against the other names but they are majorly popular so Tessa is different in a nice way and wins it for me.

SunshineTheMonkey · 25/12/2017 20:40

Tessa is always ten ton Tessa to me, no idea why but it is.

Olivia is lovely, Isabella is ok but v overused.

I would go for Livvie or keep looking

BewareOfDragons · 25/12/2017 20:41

Adore Tessa. I had it on my list until the bitter end ... DH wasn't as keen.

The other two names are run of the mill these days; so common.

Muse84 · 25/12/2017 21:43

you cold shorten Isabella to Issa (scandi- "iss-a") Similar to Tessa!

Joeybee · 25/12/2017 21:53

You've got to go with a name that you like, son't just settle for a nam alternative if you're not sure. Personally Olivia and Isabella are waaaaaay too popular for me to use. There'd likely be a few of them in her class. However is that really a big deal if you love the name? I remember there were 3 Andrews in my class growing up, and they didn't seem to mind that they were one of three.
So, from your list I'd go with Olivia or Tessa.

JollyGiraffe · 25/12/2017 21:54

Tessa

GreatDuckCookery6211 · 25/12/2017 22:06

Isabella is beautiful. I would go with it personally. I love Tess but not Tessa. Olivia is nice too.

froshiechipandbrickie · 25/12/2017 22:09

Isabella. But I also like Tessa.

PeasAndHarmony · 25/12/2017 22:14

Tessa or tess is great.

The others are nice but your daughter would be one of loads of Olivia's and Isabella's at school!

pomegranita · 25/12/2017 22:28

Definitely Tessa. Really like it, and Tess too. (I always see Pippa and Nina and Stella in the same bracket: snappy, sassy, simple)
Isabella (+variations) and Olivia are both pretty names but have been riding high on the charts for last 10-15 years and are incredibly well-used - and therefore very run-of-the-mill in my opinion.

Ohmyfuck · 25/12/2017 22:32
