Girls Names - which is best??

I really love Olivia and Isabella but worried they're so popular - I've thought about Tessa too but not sure if it's thought of as a nice name, as nice as Olivia and Isabella

So what are your choices from my list??

Olivia
Isabella
Or Tessa (thoughts on Tessa pls!)

Thanks so much!!

I don’t like Tessa. Love Isabella though. Olivia is nice but too common these days

TatianaLarina · 26/12/2017 08:51

I like Tessa. Never been able to stand Isabella or any of its variants. And yes Olivia is way over used.

AnonEvent · 26/12/2017 08:57

Where we are Isabelle, Isobel, Isabella, Isobella are very very popular (South West London).

I don't know any baby Olivias at all.

I like Tessa, what's it usually a shortening of...Theresa?

How about Francesca, as a similar sounding options?

AnonEvent · 26/12/2017 08:57

Option, singular.

SmiledWithTheRisingSun · 26/12/2017 08:59

Isabella.

SparkyBlue · 26/12/2017 10:12

Tessa is gorgeous

CakeRattleandRoll · 27/12/2017 13:58

Tessa would be my choice, definitely.

froshiechipandbrickie · 27/12/2017 14:26

Anon Francesca is lovely.

shsh3r · 27/12/2017 15:34

Think those who mentioned Theresa May have put me off a bit now..... Confused

I have three primary DC and know tons of Isabella's, but no Olivia's. Can't bear Tessa although I couldn't tell you why. Olivia by a mile for me.

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 27/12/2017 15:58

Love Tessa.

NotAgainYoda · 27/12/2017 17:21

Tessa

FirstTimeMom12 · 04/02/2018 15:21

Theresa May does not go by Tessa, does she? And if she did, who cares?
There is also Mother Theresa who was lovely! Not that she went by Tessa, but she was a Theresa too.
If you like it OP, I will go for it, just Tessa.
I also like Saskia which to me is similar to Tessa and even edgier.
If you like Isabella, there is also Sybella, Arabella or Annabelle
And similar to Olivia you have Ophelia.
Eloise is another nice name, I know one who’s sister to Olivia so I thought of adding that in case you like it.

Meemzinha · 04/02/2018 15:58

Don't lime Tessa as I see it as a nn and the other two will always be beautiful but SO popular..

They're likely to be called Olivia and the initial of their last name when in school! I couldn't bare that!

daisypond · 04/02/2018 16:40

How about Nessa as a short form for Vanessa, instead of Tessa?

shsh3r · 04/02/2018 18:15

Many congratulations OP, what did you name her ? 🌺🌺🌺

TheImprobableGirl · 04/02/2018 18:42

I have a 7 year old Isabella and she’s the only one in her three-form intake school. She goes by Bella, there’s an Isobel in the year above that goes by Izzy and an Isa (eesah) in my youngests pre-school
