Callie, Cally or Cali?

Which spelling is the nicest? I think I’m leaning towards Cally but it also seems to be the least conventional.

I think Callie is a full name, though.

I just don’t really like any of the longer versions.

I know a Callea, but I'd spell it Callie.

Cally is a football team from Inverness
Callie is much better spelling

I like Cally. It’s on my short list if I ever have a girl, would be short for Callia though.

I'm not sure why when someone asks about a name, people have to start suggesting a "full" name for it! Nobody asked for a "full" name version of it.
I like Cali, OP, as I love California, but Callie looks pretty.

It’s okay, suggestions are good as am not fully decided, but I don’t like calliope or Caroline or Calista!

Fantastic name, love it. Tonme, Cally is a shortened one but Callie is the full name.

I love Callie. Wish I'd used it but I like the names I picked too. Cally doesn't seem right but I'm not sure why.

Do you like indie music OP? If so have you heard the song Cali by Ride? I'd link but I can't find it as if i Google it just opens the YouTube app. There's probably a workaround but I'm not going to those lengths for you to turn around and say you hate indie Grin

My cat is called Kali, Hindu goddess of destruction.

The name means black in Sanscrit.
Lovely name, but a hit heavy for a baby.

My daughters nickname is Cally, she spells it with a y. It’s a shortened version of her name.

Have you tried handwriting them at all?

I regret not doing this as having learned the hard way, I now know I appear to be drunk when I hand-write DD's name in lowercase Blush

I can only write it neatly when it's in uppercase. Too many tall letters such as 'l' (EL) that all go in different directions.
