Finally feeling brave enough to post in this section, I know opinions can be brutal here

DS2 is due in 9 weeks and we're debating between Axel and Kasper.

Our family is half Norwegian and our eldest two have Norwegian names.

Which do you prefer?

I too like Jasper, but in this case, Axel.

Axel reminds me of Guns n Roses and Axel Rose whose name was famously an anagram for oral sex.

Axel also sounds like a piece of machinery. Like the axel of your car.

Jasper. Axel sounds like part of a car.

Dislike both but of the two much prefer Kasper

And you have to spell it Axl, like Axl Rose, or you end up with too many 'e's.

Axl / Axel is honestly a name I would expect with a sibling called Jaxon and both kids with shaved heads and loud-mouthed parents.

Kasper is much nicer than axel.
