To me, Regan is a surname and I am never sure whether to pronounce it Ray-gen or Ree-gen

Rory. I don't dislike Regan but IMO its more for a girl, and makes me think of the little girl in the Exorcist

Regan is much more commonly a girls name. It's nicer than Rory though.
