Yes or no? 👣

I'm thinking something like Tanto Atteso (Tess for short, obviously) would have been good.

Erm TAAT alert!! Wink

I think Poella is lovely. Are you pronouncing it Poh-lah?

Is the baby here now? Last I heard she was long overdue

MollyHuaCha · 21/11/2017 13:50

She was indeed long overdue. Poella’s Mummy is taking precautions to avoid any more I believe.

TheScottishPlay · 21/11/2017 13:52

Puella is latin for girl.

NaughtToThreeSadOnions · 21/11/2017 13:54

Yes she arrived and was like 2 pounds!

Battleax · 21/11/2017 14:10

They're talking about constipation Scottish.

littlechous · 21/11/2017 14:23

🎶 Pooella d’ville, Pooella D’Ville.... if she doesn’t tear you... no poo ever will! 🎶

yasmin05 · 21/11/2017 14:27

If that name has a special meaning to you then by all means. But if you just heard it or someone may have just suggested it then I'd say no. I'd rather go for Paula :). But it's still your call.

SparklingSnowfall · 21/11/2017 16:12

No OP, just no

somanyusernames · 21/11/2017 16:15

i fervently hope this is a wind up - the thought of some poor kid being called Po or Poo by their classmates doesn't bear too much thought!

Cockmagic · 21/11/2017 16:16

It sounds shit ( literally)

MammieBear · 21/11/2017 16:23

Reminds me of a character on cbeebies...

dreamingofprairies · 21/11/2017 16:37

I wouldn't...

Sounds like food. Or poop.

Have I logged onto Netmums by mistake?

I have no idea what is happening here. But surely you would only name your child that if you were planning to home educate until they're old enough to apply for a deed poll.

RavenWings · 21/11/2017 17:29

No idea who the previous mner being talked about is.

Poella though, what a wonderful nickname she'll have at school. Pooey. Pooella. Poo. Such a wonderful choice!

dantdmistedious · 21/11/2017 17:36

Paella?

Pancakeflipper · 21/11/2017 17:43

Is it really pronounced Poo-ella ?

Well it would be character building I guess.

Tiddlywinks63 · 21/11/2017 17:43

From where the heck did Poella originate? I can just imagine the unfortunate child being called pooey Ella ☹️
Paella, puella?
Just call her Poo and have done with it op.

PelvicFloorClenchReminder · 21/11/2017 17:43

Actually, having given it some thought, Poella would work really well as a middle name after Edgar Allan.

usernameinfinito · 21/11/2017 17:47

I like Pooella

buttercup54321 · 21/11/2017 19:38

POO ELLA. Poor kid

NaughtToThreeSadOnions · 21/11/2017 21:08

The link to finding out what this is about is further up the thread

Does no one have a sence of humour

DancingOnParsnips · 22/11/2017 01:10
