I’m leaning towards more simple names.

I think Amy is a good, solid choice. Hubby not so sure!

Is it a bit boring or old?!

Can I your thoughts?!

I love it - short and pretty. It also reminds me of Little Women Smile

I know a few lovely Amy's too.

IHaveBrilloHair · 14/11/2017 20:41

No, it's a bit blah.

loobybear · 14/11/2017 20:43

RayM · 14/11/2017 20:54

😊 yay!

crisscrosscranky · 14/11/2017 20:54

Love Amy! Would your DH prefer it spelt the French way?

MessyBun247 · 14/11/2017 20:56

Yes I love it, simple, pretty, classic. I prefer the Aimee spelling but most people on here don't seem to like it that way. Tbh it's lovely both ways!

tiddleywinks27 · 14/11/2017 21:16

Wow thanks all Flowers
It could be the one!

I prefer Amy to Aimee definitely.

piggybrownhare · 14/11/2017 21:23

Sorry no I really don't like it, boring and unimaginative and sounds whiny to me 😬

piggybrownhare · 14/11/2017 21:25

I should add that I was in a school year with about 10 Amy's/Aimee's etc, they were everywhere but a very common name, hence why I think it's boring.

PandaCat · 14/11/2017 21:33

I find it a bit blah

DramaAlpaca · 14/11/2017 21:34

I love it, as long as it's spelled Amy. I don't like the Aimee spelling.

DropZoneOne · 14/11/2017 21:37

DD is an Amy, it was my grandmother's name too. I like classic names.

I liked the French spelling in a nod to my mother's family origin but didn't want to saddle the child with a lifetime of spelling her name like I did so we kept to Amy.

It's not a top 10 name either - only one other in her school year of 90.
