opinions on this name please, I heard it and I cant decide if I love it or is it too weird?

also initially would you think its a name for a boy or a girl?

Well, I wasn't keen on Americans using boys' names for girls. Like Brynne ( a welsh man's name) and Findlay, both given to girls in America.

But although it's annoying that is the nature of a melting pot and the evolution of language.

Some sur names are unattractive sounds, but if they're nice sounds then I think it's a nice way of picking something not used, but yet familiar to the ear.

lol at Rooney Mara, she's so beautiful she can pull it off. But it just makes me think of Wayne. I wonder if she's heard of our Wayne.
