I have a Nataliya. Mm Tali. Probably doesn't help much but I prefer Natalia if that's the choice but I'm biased.

Natalia. There is something about Natalie that sounds a bit hard to me, but not sure why. Maybe it is that there is more emphasis on the "nat".

revelsandrose · 07/09/2017 13:37

Natalie is a bit dated, Natalia is lovely

Ttbb · 07/09/2017 13:38

Natalia is lovely.

Natalia. I like how the stress is on the second A, as opposed to the stress on the first A in Natalie.

Boatmistress17 · 07/09/2017 13:42

Natalia
Hate Natalie when pronounced without the second T!!

Missingmyrioja · 07/09/2017 13:43

Both lovely. In so far as we can ever predict nicknames/shortenings, maybe Natalie is more likely to give NAT and Natalia to give TALI/TALIA ?(because of where the emphasis falls)
On that basis I vote Natalia.

SleepingStandingUp · 07/09/2017 13:44

Natalia.

She can nn to Natalie if she wants

saritah · 07/09/2017 13:46

Natalia. I know one and she's beautiful to match her name! She also gets "Nat", which you'd get with Natalie anyway.

stopbeingadramallama · 07/09/2017 14:20

It will only get shortened to Nat anyway, so pick either.

DewDropsonKittens · 07/09/2017 14:22

Hate Natalie when pronounced without the second T!!

What do you mean? There is only one T
