I don't know why I like it, but I do! Is it ridiculous?

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

I like it. Also Sunday is quite pleasant-sounding for a girl. Thursday and Saturday seem to be the only days of the week that haven't been used, as far as I can see. Friday seems popular for boys in some African cultures - I quite like that too.

friedegs · 17/07/2017 21:58

Massively understated. Under the radar cool. Quietly sophisticated. Can you tell I love this Grin. Easily recognised but not common.

Kazzawazza69 · 19/07/2017 20:56

I like it but don't think I'd be brave enough to use it for my own child!

TheMysteriousJackelope · 19/07/2017 20:59

If month names like April, May, June and season names like Autumn and Summer are acceptable, I don't see why day names shouldn't be.

Mrsknackered · 19/07/2017 21:02

I like it

My bins are collected on a Tuesday too

MoHunter · 19/07/2017 21:06

I don't like it, sorry. Confused
Maybe ok as a middle name if baby is born on a Tuesday.

BackforGood · 19/07/2017 21:12

Awful.

Every

Flippin

Time

you give anyone your name, they'd ask if you were born on a Tuesday. It would be SO annoying. Don't do it!

Fiona1984 · 19/07/2017 21:14

I really like it, it's unusual

SingaSong12 · 19/07/2017 21:25

I'd hate being called Tuesday - the constant asking why. As PP says you need to be confident. Could you use for a middle name. Then if your DD is quirky she can use it, or it could be her home name and her more conventional name for formal things.

queenofthedump · 20/07/2017 17:32

I know a grown-up called Tuesday and it's just too confusing.

DurhamDurham · 20/07/2017 17:34

I like it, doubt I would have got it past my husband but if you both like it go for it. There'll be no trouble with the spelling of it, everyone will know Smile

TurquoiseOwl · 21/07/2017 20:13

When the teacher is looking for Tuesday's work, it'll be quite difficult...

NikiBabe · 22/07/2017 04:05

I had a Tuesday in my class at school
No one made fun. It was just her name.

Why not!

daisypond · 22/07/2017 11:47

I don't like it. It's just a day of the week - an average day of the week. It's not like Autumn or April, which may have nice images about them. It's commonplace in some West African cultures to have a day name - everyone has one - but it's not common in Western society.

TroysMammy · 22/07/2017 11:50

I knew of a man named Sunday. I always wanted to ask if he had siblings named after the other days of the week. I never did because I would have been disappointed if he said their names were Jane and John.

AnotherLegoBrick · 22/07/2017 13:48

Sister for Wednesday...

midsomermurderess · 22/07/2017 21:02

I rather like it too.

BotBotticelli · 23/07/2017 14:43

I used to work with a man (a senior scientist) whose first name was Sunday. It really suited him.

And I once saw a woman enrolled on a course whose name was....FRiday Knight! Seriously.

Clawdy · 23/07/2017 17:47

No, Tuesday Weld 's real name was Susan. She was such a beautiful girl, I always longed to look like her.

Epipgab · 23/07/2017 18:59

It would wind me up to hear it pronounced Choose-Day half the time.

Itsnotwhatitseems · 23/07/2017 19:11
