Is the Baby Name Finder on glue???

Just looked up David in the MN Baby Name Finder. It's a family name we've considered but I'm on the fence so thought I'd see what similar names they suggested. They came up with - wait for it - FESTER. Baby FESTER. Can only conclude that the name finder is tripping balls. Grin

This is great fun Grin

DD's (normal but uncommon) name suggested the alternative Fleur. Nowt wrong with that...except it was for a boy.

DS's (very common, very popular) name came up with 'Pizza' as a girls' name suggestion.
The 'what the name makes me think of' was the best bit though - apparently DS is "unreliable, selfish and mildly psychotic" GrinGrin which sounds about right actually, although he isn't even 1 yet so I suppose I could let him off.

Thanks for reporting! We've flagged this.

Really fancy some pizza now...

Ollivander84 · 17/07/2017 11:36

I got suggestion - anh when I put my own name in

jaynelovesagathachristie · 17/07/2017 13:48

Jenga for a girl. It's very odd

EmpressOfTheSpartacusOceans · 17/07/2017 17:12

I was so tempted to add Artichoke. I just couldn't decide whether it should be male or female.

CoffeeWithMyOxygen · 17/07/2017 21:00

Now I feel naughty that instead of actually reporting it I just ran off to make a funny thread... Quite sad now at the thought of you 'fixing' it though, baby Fester was looking forward to starting nursery with all of these exotic playmates!

Would it be so wrong to have more children just to have a baby Delorean?!

I've just told dh we missed a trick not naming ds Delorean. He thinks I'm totally off my rocker.

ShowOfHands · 17/07/2017 21:33

Bwahaha...

For me it suggested:

R (that's it, just R. I'm pronouncing it aire in a very heavy French accent btw)

or...

Dresden Shock

TitilatedOcelot · 17/07/2017 21:40

Love this! I put in my boys' names and it suggested I call them Worzel and Neptune instead. Those might be their new nicknames 😀

HappyAxolotl · 17/07/2017 21:43

It has suggested Bariculous and Banarnamun for boys and Gynae for a girl! Grin

Miroslawa definitely is a name, I met two today!

MadeinBelfast · 17/07/2017 22:02

Norkerella for a girl anyone?!

MissTakesOurMaid · 17/07/2017 22:18

Got suggested Voldemort and Kipchogey. Confused

AtiaoftheJulii · 17/07/2017 22:27

Crimplene for a girl, or Ballonz (although I'm sure that only has one l) for a boy ...

Dibbles1967 · 17/07/2017 22:38

Librarybooksandacoconut

That would be lovely for twins...

Stormagedden
Armagedden

You could call your dog Apocalypse [Grin]

EmpressOfTheSpartacusOceans · 18/07/2017 06:21

No random kid is going to invent Stormageddon, Crimplene or Norkarella. I think all these came from someone a bit older.

AllRoadsLeadBackToRadley · 18/07/2017 06:40

Does anyone have a site link?

AllRoadsLeadBackToRadley · 18/07/2017 06:41

and I would call a kid Stormageddon

AllRoadsLeadBackToRadley · 18/07/2017 06:44

Charming- DS's name invited me to add it, and DD's name came up with different spellings of hers! Weird...
