want to go for the name sienna but with a second name
It's either sienna ishani , sienna vaani
We are of Indian back origin. Any thoughts on either??

I don't like Sienna very much but I like the middle names.
What about?
Aaliyah Vaani
Maya Ishani
Imani Sienna
Kiran Ishani

Crewlife · 26/06/2017 14:34

Ty for your response, appreciate it.
I'm almost certain on the first name to be sienna ( can you see I love it lol) Aaliyah and Omani would be of a middle eastern origin and we are Hindus. Ishani and vaani by them selves are good enough but. I fell I love with the name sienna when I came across it.

I'd go with Sienna Ishani out of the two you've chosen because the ending of Sienna and the beginning of Vaani sounds a bit rhyme-y IMO.

LorelaiVictoriaGilmore · 26/06/2017 14:45

I think Sienna Ishani is lovely!

Bubblesoup · 26/06/2017 14:54

Sienna Lakshmi?

cragsandmountains · 26/06/2017 15:00

vaani makes me think of reg varney!

im not sure about sienna ishani maybe because sienna ends with a vowel and ishani starts with one? doesn't sound right to my ears.

MackerelOfFact · 26/06/2017 15:13

Ishani is beautiful, and Isha is a lovely nickname.

Quadrangle · 26/06/2017 15:40

I love Sienna and would go with Sienna Vaani

Crewlife · 26/06/2017 16:40

wow some quick responses !! Thanks.
It's always good to hear what people have to say. My reasoning for the unsual connection is that I want to keep the Indian origin with a twist of Anglo . Please keep your thoughts coming .

Sienna Ishani is beautiful

Thanks once again for the suggestions.
Which spelling is appropriate sienna or sianna ??

LoveB · 30/06/2017 05:41

Well it's up to you. I suppose Sienna is usual but Sianna is lovely also. Depends if you want her name to be Sienna or Sianna - imv they'd be pronounced differently! Both are lovely choices

Crewlife · 30/06/2017 07:44

@loveb thanks , in researching the name sianna means wise in hindi/Punjabi and I'm almost certain that it has Irish/ Gaelic connections too. Birth pronounced as see-ann-na. Sienna seems easier on the eye and most people will recognise it.

I love Tulsi and do like Sienna Tulsi. Congrats on your baby.

LoveB · 30/06/2017 07:59

I think if you call her Sienna it'll be pronounced See-enn-na most of the time so if you'd prefer See-ann-na then go with Sianna! Sounds like it's got lovely connotations for you as well

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 30/06/2017 08:43

Prefer Sienna, to Sianna.

Crewlife · 30/06/2017 10:27

@loveb and @sugarpiehoneyeye appreciate the views thanks

I think Sienna Vaani is a lovely name, very poetic!

Crewlife · 30/06/2017 18:16

@babypassport the word Vaani in Hindi actually means spoken words or speech.
Sanskrit meaning: Eloquent in words;
