Zen for a girl?

i really personally dislike that name funnily enough! and Zen is a proper name  just not very common!

I wouldn't, for a girl or a boy. Zen is slang for chilled, isn't it, and is somehow related to Buddhism? Just sounds odd, and strangely impersonal as a name.

I know a Zennor, named after the Cornish village. I prefer that.

How about Sezen? Trying to find a name we like that fits our ethnicity is proving hard

I quite like Zen, I've not heard it used as a name before but it's pretty.

I like Zen if it's short for Zenaida - never seen it as a standalone name.

I know a Ksenia (pronounced Zennia) but not a 'Zen'- it's unusual but I don't dislike it!

We are turkish but would like a name easily pronounceable in Uk too and not too "out there"... and can't use the ones i like (eg Layla & Hazel) for family reasons so feeling very stuck

I like it a lot,it's very catchy and easy to remember which is always a good thing .
My daughter is Ava but if I had a boy I would of called him JET .

Or something totally different, like Genevieve? can shorten to Genevie or Evie?
