Finally, we have our final 3 names but we just can not decide.
I love all 3 and it's proving difficult to pick.
What does everyone think?
Her middle name will be Elizabeth and that's set in stone.
Margo Elizabeth - nn Maggie
Effie Elizabeth
Agnes Elizabeth

Agnes Elizabeth is lovely

WorryLessCherishEveryDay · 01/05/2017 18:07

Margo

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 01/05/2017 18:55

Loola, I love Etta too, such a shame, but how annoying !
I also really love, Loula/Lucille. 😄

DramaAlpaca · 01/05/2017 18:58

Another vote for Agnes.

CaulkheadNorth · 01/05/2017 19:00

These are my three favourite names!

Definitely Margot or Margaux, and I'd find something Effie could be short for as I like being able to go for the long or short version of my name.

mummabearfoyrbabybears · 01/05/2017 19:25

It's Margot with a silent T. Like people who name there child Louis then say it 'Lewis' Hmm

Their Blush

MollyHuaCha · 01/05/2017 19:47

Agnes - I love this name.

Redpramlady · 01/05/2017 19:58

Margo :-)

Lilly16 · 01/05/2017 20:44

Margo is my fave but I would also add a 't'.
Effie is lovely but not sure it goes with Elizabeth as well as Margo does.
Agnes, I'm not so keen on.

pipilangstrumpf · 01/05/2017 21:00

But only in France is Margot and Louis pronounced the French way, Mar-goh and Lou-ee

In Germany, Netherlands etc Margot is pronounced Margott and Louis is Lou-is. Also in the US the city of St Louis is pronounced Lou-is.

pipilangstrumpf · 01/05/2017 21:01

If you prefer the Margo pronunciation, I'd spell it Margo. Simple and no ambiguity, anywhere in the world.

Haffdonga · 01/05/2017 21:01

I lovethe name Effie.

MaroonPencil · 01/05/2017 21:03

Margot without a t makes me think mango. I love it with a t though.

MiddleClassProblem · 01/05/2017 21:07

I don't like Margot, pronounced Mar-gott at all

You're not meant to pronounce the t. I think since Margot Robbie in particular more people would pronounce it correctly if they didn't before.

mummabearfoyrbabybears · 01/05/2017 21:10

The OP isn't German though pip. The correct pronunciation in English is Lou-ee.

FeedTheSharkAndItWillBite · 01/05/2017 21:50

I personally think Margo looks weird...

In the UK and France (and in Switzerland, but it is a really small country) it's definitely pronounced without the t...

Viviennemary · 01/05/2017 21:54

I think Effie is awful. I probably like Agnes best. Nothing wrong with Margo but I'm not personally keen on it. But would prefer Margot to Margo.

SirNiallDementia · 01/05/2017 22:01

Margo is my favourite, then Agnes.

Really don't like Effie, sounds like a nickname and potential for eff-off teasing I think.

ACatCalledFang · 01/05/2017 22:05

My favourite is Margot (spelled that way rather than Margo) but Agnes goes well with Elizabeth. I like Effie but not with Elizabeth and think the pps who commented on playground teasing are sadly right.

Blossomdeary · 01/05/2017 22:07

I really think you should not saddle a child with the name Effie.

CocoLoco87 · 01/05/2017 22:19

I'd go with Margot. Margo looks like you spelt Mango or Marge incorrectly.

Sadfacehappyface · 01/05/2017 22:20

Agnes is lovely, it goes best with your boy's names imo. Also, if you use Margo, Oliver might feel left out that his name doesn't start with an M.

buttercup54321 · 01/05/2017 23:03

Effie just sounds like a swear word. Aggie like an old crone. Margo just awful
