Hi, our little boy is due in 5 weeks.
Which name do you prefer? No point in commenting if you're just going to be nasty/say neither.
Thank you.

I like Jadon best.

memyselfandaye · 30/04/2017 20:29

Before you posted you knew you were going to get negative comments and that's just on here, so why give your kid a name that you're being defensive about before it's even born?

Call your kid whatever you want, but don't ask for honest opinions if you don't want them.

mum2be2boys · 30/04/2017 20:54

Out of the two, I prefer Jadon. I'm not keen on Justus, but like Justin as an alternative.

GinIsIn · 30/04/2017 20:57

Were there any other names on your list? Perhaps just think about it for a bit longer....

KeepCalm · 30/04/2017 20:59

Neither

villainousbroodmare · 30/04/2017 21:03

Justus. Maybe. Depending on surname. Or think some more.

mylittlephoney · 30/04/2017 21:06

Are u in England? Although people now a days are experimenting with Names and for the most part come up with interesting nay pretty names. These are neither
Sorry. I know you want validation from this thread. But sometimes people get it wrong. I hope you Ds is healthy and you have a bonny baba. But give him a name to be proud of. Not a fly by night mess of one. Sorry OP.

Dontrocktheboat · 30/04/2017 22:00

I think Jadon, even with biblically accurate spelling, will get lumped in with Jayden/ jaiden and all the negative connotations that go with that.

The only Justus I ever met was German and pronounced Yoostus, which is quite nice. If you are going to pronounce Justus with a j (like justice) then I'm not sure. Justin is nicer.

FeedTheSharkAndItWillBite · 30/04/2017 22:02

What about Julius? I know a German Julius and a German Justus.

I think Julius may work better in the UK, tbh...

Bejazzled · 30/04/2017 22:05

Neither, they are not nice
Do you have other options?

Lepetitmarsellais · 30/04/2017 22:08

Justno.

Natsku · 30/04/2017 22:33

I really like the name Justus but pronounced with a soft J so Yustus.

WaitrosePigeon · 01/05/2017 01:54

Is Jadon pronounced Jaddon?

BeeThirtythree · 01/05/2017 04:14

Love the Biblical names and meanings, our DD is Azariah.
I vote for Justus, I think it's less likely to be 'shortened' to 'jay' ...not a non fan personally but it may not bother others, just don't like altering the meaning of given name.
Both lovely names, maybe once you see your baby...one will just 'fit'

I used to babysit a Justus (and his brother Marcus) years ago. I've always loved the name.

pipilangstrumpf · 01/05/2017 08:13

I like Justus. It's quite popular in Germany, pronounced Yus-tus

Rockaby · 01/05/2017 15:33

Jadon

Jooni · 01/05/2017 17:39

Justus. Cool name. I like Julius too, as suggested above.

Not keen on Jadon. Judah?

WorryLessCherishEveryDay · 01/05/2017 18:04

Jadon

user1471547428 · 01/05/2017 18:20

I really like Justus.

Alisvolatpropiis · 01/05/2017 19:22

I prefer Jadon

GuinessPunch · 01/05/2017 19:26
