Failing to see how my remark was ignorant. Soz. As an Irish person I wouldn't name a child Ira because to me it is too closely similar to the IRA. Purely my opinion only. I am fully aware that it is pronounced differently and wouldn't be written in capitals despite snidey comments from you and name-calling by another poster But we'll not derail the OP's thread any further and we'll leave it there. Smile

FeedTheSharkAndItWIllBite · 23/04/2017 14:58

Asa?

Duane looks like Douane to me personally... I also like Spencer.

Whatslovegottodo · 23/04/2017 15:05

Beautiful baby OP.
Love Rory and Spencer is OK too.
Asher is a good alternative to Asa? I like Kieran or Ciaran as well - is a name for a dark haired baby.

FrenchLavender · 23/04/2017 15:38

I can't stop looking at the photo of him. He's just beautiful. Not many newborns look that perfect, it takes them a few weeks to start looking like anything other than Yoda/Gollum/Winston Churchill. He is the Adonis of newborn babies. Seriously. Can I have him? Please? Grin

He's definitely a Rory. That's settled then.

TheElephantofSurprise · 23/04/2017 18:47

He really is beautiful.

AntigoneJones · 23/04/2017 18:50

I think Duane is a lovely name and sadly under-used.

harderandharder2breathe · 23/04/2017 18:54

No no no to Duane

Asa is nicer

RumbleRoar · 23/04/2017 19:00

Your DS is beautiful, congratulations.
Asa is great. Ds friend is Asa, nn Ace.
Definitely the winner for me.

FeedTheSharkAndItWIllBite · 23/04/2017 19:31

Asa is such a fabulous name!

thebakerwithboobs · 23/04/2017 19:38

Don't call him anything, just give him to me. My womb just skipped a beat!

(1: Rory 2: Asa (prefer Asher) 3: Please not Duane)

TheElephantofSurprise · 23/04/2017 20:03

Ashur is a lovely name.

ScarletForYa · 23/04/2017 20:06

Dwayne Dibley!

ThunderInMyHeart · 23/04/2017 20:11

Duane Reade.

GreenPuffin · 23/04/2017 23:38

Ahhh Smile thanks! We are still deciding... Other names we are keen on: Henry (but is this just extremely popular?) and Dominic...

OP posts:
MollyCule · 23/04/2017 23:46

Love Henry and I feel like it's a name you think is common but I think I've only ever met one. Although I think Harry is very popular. Like Henry the most and then Rory. He really is a gorgeous baby - most newborns look like Phil Mitchell!

Aquamarine1029 · 24/04/2017 02:43

Duane is awful.

hoddtastic · 24/04/2017 12:06

Dominic is FABULOUS.

YouBloodyWhat · 24/04/2017 12:17

I love Asa.

I HATE Duane!

YouBloodyWhat · 24/04/2017 12:17

I also like Dominic a lot.
