DD arrived 5 weeks ago, and after about 10 days we buckled to Pressure and named her Grace, we both like it but neither of us love it, I feel like we've settled for a common name, and want to change it.
Her brother and sister have great names that we love and I feel I owe it to baby to give her an equally awesome name (in my opinion!)

I love Xanthe.... however can't use it as its very similar to my DS, Xavier.

I like different names, ones that you meet few and far between and that have good nicknames.

So we have Xavier and Trixie already so I like names with an x sound it seems any suggestions on what number 3 could be..... ???

I love Xanthe. Shame you can't use it. I realise I am no help.

LemonScentedStickyBat · 23/03/2017 16:28

I know they don't have 'x' in them but

Penelope
Iolanthe
Ianthe
Kalliope
Calypso
Delphi
Athena
Juno

glitterglitters · 23/03/2017 16:28

How about Athena? Something Grecian sounding? Calliope, Minerva. X

glitterglitters · 23/03/2017 16:28

Great minds @LemonScentedStickyBat

crumpet · 23/03/2017 16:28

Iona?
Penelope?
But as both siblings names have X's in, Xanthe would work well

Don't normally get involved in baby names but...

Juno would be lovely, especially with the other DC names.

Also, I'll give you the name I was going to give DS had he been a girl, Danika- it means morning star in Slavic.

Ilovewillow · 23/03/2017 16:46

I know a xanthe and her sister is called Athena which I've always thought is really pretty!

ReginaGeorgeinSheepsClothing · 23/03/2017 16:46

Cassiopeia?

BikeRunSki · 23/03/2017 16:48

BAR91 · 23/03/2017 16:48

If you love Xanthe just use it, I think it's different enough.

keeplooking · 23/03/2017 16:54

Zadie
Inez
Xyla

I'm not sure why you've ruled out Xanthe - I think it would be fine with your other dc's names!

Lucked · 23/03/2017 17:01

Fara/Farrah
Isadora

misshoohaa · 23/03/2017 17:13

We call DS Xav and I would call her Xanth, DS is adamant they sound the same... he's not really one to voice his opinion so prominently so I feel bad in case I'm stealing his thunder..., it's so tempting though.

I like Zadie I think!?
