Which spelling do you like?
Rebecca is more common whereas Rebekah is the Hebrew biblical way

I'm a ''kah'. Religious mother. People spell it wrong (not just the cca way, when you correct "oh no, its kah, they panic and dont listen even when you're spelling it out for them") and it's never been written on a headband/pencil case etc "my" way. That said, I like it because it's mine 😊 (and I suppose I can be spiky when I'm in a bad mood!)

I love Rebekah :)

I'm not a fan of Rebecca. It looks a bit bland. I'm not sure why, tbh (but it's still a nice choice)

BeccyButterfly · 21/03/2017 16:47

I am a Rebecca, it doesn't matter how it's spelt - people will still get it wrong! 2 b's, 1 c etc. Having said that, my whole life there have been other Rebecca's at work/school etc. So would of been nice to have the other spelling, even if it was just to be known as 'Rebekah with the k' Smile

The original Biblical spelling thing doesn't really work, what with Hebrew having a different alphabet. I suppose it could mean the St James spelling, or the most respected transliteration.

Rebecca.

mrscee · 21/03/2017 20:17

I have the more popular spelling at least I can get a pen with my name on

xBIBIx · 21/03/2017 21:22

i prefer Rebecca

HexeSauerkraut · 21/03/2017 21:28

I think Rebekah looks well balanced, not 'spiky'.

harderandharder2breathe · 21/03/2017 22:51

Rebecca as it's the one most people would assume

DragonFire99 · 21/03/2017 22:56

Rebecca. Looks much friendlier and happy.

When your Rebecca is older she will decide which deriviative she'd like to be known by! (Becs, Becca - NOT Becky)
