My dad famously wanted to call me Leah - "because it was easy to remember" .

He vetoed Robin and Rowan.

I don't remember vetoing any if his suggestions- he actually has great taste in names.

We didn't have any arguments about it though and decided quite quickly.

We get a lot of compliments on the DC's names so we must have done an ok job of it!

Final name: Carmen Iris Juliette. Wouldn't have gone for three but Iris popped into my head on first sight when she was born and he'd already okayed the other two.

DH vetoed Catherine and Sophie and have just remembered, Molly, which I toyed with.

I named my cross dressing buddy "Dorothy" He has a black beard.

I vetoed "Tai" for our boy. My other half agreed to my favourite name, so we had a quite easy decision really!

I vetoed Cosmo he vetoed Zebedee. Zeb would have really worked for DS2 but all DH could think of when I said it was 'bong, time for bed'.
