What does everyone think of Emma as a baby girl's name? Nice for both young and older child?

I'd probably go for a longer middle name and not one of the names which is generally used as a middle name, so I would avoid Grace and May etc, lovely as they are. I say that because I was given a popular first name paired with a popular middle name and it's dull, even though seperately I like both names.

I'm sorry, I abolutely hate the name Emma. So commonplace and plain and old-fashioned these days too.

My mummy is Emma Smile
Her best friend is also called Emma, and they're both lovely.
I think it's cute.

DD is Emma. She is 24. Kind beautiful and generous. The only Emma I know.

The name is nice but way over used.

Beautiful, classic name. I'd pair it with something a bit more whimsical and fanciful. Suggeatons:

Emma Juliet
Emma Julienne
Emma Felicity
Emma Violet
Emma Xanthe
Emma Calliope
Emma Lucienne
