I need some positivity to help with my ivf nerves, so dreaming about female baby names. We love names like Maia, Thea, Mya, Ellissa, Autumn, Violet, Juliet but we're undecided. Nothing too out there or difficult to spell/pronounce. Would love some new suggestions to daydream about!

Beagle no...she meant "dreamy" as in SHE is dreaming...not yet pregnant...she specifically said "Nothing too out there"

Jooni · 16/02/2017 07:38

Luna's not that out there! It ranked 130th last year.

I think it's out there and either way it will be one of those names which dates badly.

Frankiefarr · 16/02/2017 11:43

I know a baby Luna it's not that out there but it does make me think of hippies and yoghurt weaving

Thea I like and Tabitha is a soft warm and name I always think :)

Ordinarily · 16/02/2017 12:53

she meant "dreamy" as in SHE is dreaming

The title was for "dreamy girls names" so that means dreamy names. She also said she's daydreaming.

Aisling is the Irish for dream come true

mathanxiety · 16/02/2017 17:32

Aisling (pr. Ash-ling) would be lovely - means 'vision' though (as in a vision that appears to you) not 'dream come true'.

Travelbug91 · 16/02/2017 18:53

Thank you for all of your suggestions. It's been really lovely to receive so many ideas (Oooo please keep 'em coming!). I am a little bit hippy-ish so I quite like the Luna name Smile and dream-inspired names, but I'm not tied to them (apologies for my confusing post/title). Travelling is also a great passion of ours but I'm not keen on place names...what to do?!

frankie I have a Tabitha and although it gets suggested often the only comment made on here about it is that it's a name for a witch or a cat, so it's lovely to hear someone say otherwise Flowers

It means gazelle which perfectly suits our long limbed DD
