Cultural baby name drama!!! Help!!!!

I'm British and my husband is African, we have a toddler who is called Orson with an African middle name already. I'm expecting another boy in 3 weeks(ish) and we cannot agree on a baby name at all! We had the exact same problem with our toddler and in the end I basically chose his name which we both (now) love.
We've made baby name lists and literally all the names are being vetoed by each other, for example he likes "Feyi" "Iso" "Basso" but none of them make sense with the name Orson and I struggle to pronounce 😳....I've made so many suggestions, some of which I'm not even keen on in order to find a compromise but we're stuck 😬😬😬😬
This is my current list:
Wren
Drake
Ocean
Rui
Orion
Amory
Beau
Sol

Advise and name suggestions please!!! Looks like I'll be naming him on my own and my head is spinning!!!

I think of Wren as a girls name so I'd discount that.
I like Amory or Drake best to go alongside Orson

Sol or Beau are lovely. Amory is nice too.

I'm not keen on Drake. I just don't like the ...ake sound. I also dislike Blake for the same reason.

Amory is cool and makes me think of an F Scott Fitzgerald novel.

Wren I think of as a girls name.

Orion is lovely but too similar to Orson for me.

I don't like Ocean or Rui very much and Ocean is also very similar to Orson.

How about River?

But isnt Sol a girls name? Sun in spanish. And a short from Solange (my friends name)
I really like Orion, but it is too close to Orson
My vote goes for Amroy and Beau

Is there not an African name you both like that can be shortened to an English version? A friend of mine had a little girl called Omilara. She is know to everyone as Lara.

I prefer Feyi actually.

Please don't go for Drake - everyone will asume you called him after the singer.

Of your list I prefer Beau.

What country is he from? What other names does he like?

Is Feyi a unisex name I used to go to school with a female Feyi, always associate it as a female name.

Seems like it depends on what country he is from, as Africa is rather non-specific. Surely you need to think of a name from his country rather than just 'Africa'.

Feyi is a Yoruba name - many or even most are unisex. OP, where is DP from? Could you choose a name from his culture that also sounds like a British name?

I think more people in Britain would think of Sol(omon) Campbell when they heard the name Sol, than of a French nn.

Do you like any variants of the names he likes? Maybe Ferdinand, Asa, Isaac, Sebastian?

Thanks for the feedback, my hubby is from the English speaking part of Cameroon, he also speaks Spanish. Many people from his community have English names (including his parents and siblings) and he has told me names like Theodore, Remy, Shey etc are very common and he has discounted these even though I would be happy for something like these.

I just want whatever name we use to sound nice with Orson.

Nothing to do with being a package, surely? Everything to do with yelling the pair of names across the park, writing them together in cards etc

I'm not suggesting names need to match, btw. Just not clash.

And if OP''s perception is that a particular name doesn't sound right with that of her DS1, then of course that's one off the list,

Can you each pick 5 names you like and score your own and then each others 1-5 and see what gets the highest vote?

Theo (Theodore) would sound good with Orson could use Ted/Teddy as different nn..
Isaac also sounds good and from your original list Amory is my definite favourite
