Is Millie suitable for a boy or a girls name?

When has it ever been a boys name?

I can't think of any boys names that can be shortened to Millie (maybe Maximilian, but there are loads more obvious nicknames than Millie).

Balonz is a lovely unisex name, why not choose that?

I did think it was a girls name but a friend of mine suggested it could be suitable for a boy, just thought I would see what others thought!

Definitely 100% girls name. A boy would have a terrible time being called Millie
