Maddie (Madeleine)
Grace
Scarlet (spelt like the colour; not Scarlett!)
Ivy
Rowan

Thanks!

Maddie or scarlet X

Pogolphin · 13/01/2017 16:51

Grace

marmitecheesetoast · 13/01/2017 17:39

Grace or Madeline/Maddy

I like Ivy too, but read PPs comment on poison ivy and thought oh yeah!

rainbow99 · 13/01/2017 18:39

Grace first, Maddie second. Don't like Ivy or scarlet at all. I know one scarlet that gets called scar or scarly for short, which IMO is truly awful

shaggedthruahedgebackwards · 13/01/2017 18:40

Maddie or Rowan

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 13/01/2017 20:45

Absolutely Scarlet.

greenfolder · 13/01/2017 20:48

Funnily enough Dd2 is Madeleine Scarlet (with 1 t as well).
She is 19. It has stood her well. Nicknames galore. Funnily enough she looks more like a Scarlet.

Nonameyet1 · 13/01/2017 21:03

Scarlet all the way.

ClaryIsTheBest · 13/01/2017 21:03

I love Scarlet and I really like Rowan.

Ivy is very cute.

In my personal opinion Grace is ok but I actually really don't like Madeleine.

Madeoneupnow · 13/01/2017 21:04

Ivy

NerrSnerr · 13/01/2017 21:08

I prefer Grace.
Second favourite Ivy

Pixilicious · 13/01/2017 21:15

Rowan
Or Madeleine (not Maddy, sorry)

Carnabyqueen · 13/01/2017 21:15

Ivy and Grace are nice. Maddie always reminds me of Madeline McCann. Would Madeline be her official name?

ClaryIsTheBest · 13/01/2017 21:19

Madeleine unfortunately also reminds me of McCann. And of a Madeleine from Essen in Germany that had a very sad and gruesome story.

Sorry. I'm not sure why these associations stuck... :(

Sukitakeitoff · 13/01/2017 21:23

I love Rowan. I only know one personally and she's a she Smile

Ivy's lovely too. I really like most of the tree/flower names, especially the ones that aren't too frilly/girly.

SoOverPeppa123 · 13/01/2017 22:38

I like your top 3 - all gorgeous.
Not overly keen on Ivy or Rowan - though I do like like boys name''s for girls!

marmitecrumpets · 13/01/2017 22:45

Like them all.
But my favourite is Ivy

WaitroseCoffeeCostaCup · 13/01/2017 23:26

Rowan

Buntysoven · 13/01/2017 23:26

Ivy is gorgeous. The scar part of Scarlet puts me off and the Mad part of Madeleine. I personally prefer Rowan for boys...it sounds a very sturdy name...and am not keen on Grace. Ivy all the way!

Newbiecat · 14/01/2017 07:39

Grace is lovely, pretty and will grow with your daughter.
Maddie is nice now but does it sound a bit childlike when she's a grown woman? I think a lot of people choose names that suit as an infant and forget to consider how it sounds as an adult!
Sorry but IMO hyphenated names = chavvie Confused

harderandharder2breathe · 14/01/2017 09:40

Don't use a name that the spelling is already stressing you out

Rowan is gorgeous

Beebeeeight · 14/01/2017 10:43

Ivy strong classic and everyone can spell and pronounce it!

EatSpamAmandaLamb · 14/01/2017 10:44

Rowan. Not keen on the others.

stoopido · 14/01/2017 13:38

Ivy. Love it.

JournosAreLazy · 14/01/2017 14:50

I like Ivy with Madeline or Grace as a middle name.
