Rowan for a girl is lovely

PointlessUsername · 13/01/2017 14:13

Grace or Maddie

CakeRattleandRoll · 13/01/2017 14:19

Ivy or Madeleine

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 13/01/2017 14:25

Madeleine-Grace.

dalmatianmad · 13/01/2017 14:25

Love madeleine or ivy Smile

GreatFuckability · 13/01/2017 14:32

I adore ivy

TaggieRR · 13/01/2017 14:36

I would also avoid Roman but only because I would worry the children wouldn't like unisex names. Madeleine or Grace I think.

HelenaJustina · 13/01/2017 14:38

Ivy

Cosmicglitterpug · 13/01/2017 14:38

Ivy.

timelytess · 13/01/2017 14:39

Maddie (Madeleine) - No
Grace - That's ok
Scarlet (spelt like the colour; not Scarlett!) - No
Ivy - If you must.
Rowan - Boy's name, sack it.

Grace.

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 13/01/2017 15:00

I also like Ivy-Grace. Yes its very common but. That doesn't make it any less beautiful and elegant.

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 13/01/2017 15:09

Maddie

MikeUniformMike · 13/01/2017 15:12

No to hyphens. Sorry to anyone with hyphens in their DCs names, but I don't like it. It looks like you can't decide. And poor little Darren-Wayne/Rebecca-Madeleine will be Darren or Daz/Rebecca or Becky anyway. Even worse is a misspelt name (like Kaycee or Jorjina) or two names joined without a hyphen like Jaydenmckenzie or Maddielouise.

KoalaDownUnder · 13/01/2017 15:17

Ivy

CoffeeCoffeeAndLotsOfIt · 13/01/2017 16:00

My favourite is Scarlet - but if it was me I'd spell it Scarlett.

Why are you so dead against the double t spelling?

TempsPerdu · 13/01/2017 16:08

Rowan for me. Absolutely love it for a girl - it's genuinely unisex as far as I'm concerned! Madeleine would be a fairly distant second, and I'm not keen on the others.

17caterpillars1mouse · 13/01/2017 16:11

Madeleine is my favourite but go with the one that you feel most comfortable calling her. Sometimes you can love a name but it just doesn't feel quite right on your child

BrightonBelleCat · 13/01/2017 16:15

I have a Scarlett. I think Scarlet looks weird and I got really snippy and made dp at the time send corrective messages around?! He was a bit Confused.

Rowan is lovely.

ScarletSienna · 13/01/2017 16:17

Madeleine or Scarlet

I really dislike unisex names (or as it usually is, boys' names given to girls) so dislike Rowan.

Beewhisperer · 13/01/2017 16:21

Rowan. Really pretty.

MrsHughesCarson · 13/01/2017 16:25

Madeleine
Or what about Rowena?
