He's gorgeous but none of the names we liked seem to fit him. Middle name is Strachan.

I thought 'Oscar' as soon as I saw him. But then I thought Harry and then Michael when I saw my DS and he's now Charlie 😂
Congrats, he's gorgeous x

Charlie or Freddie or Joey Smile

Brendan!

Looks like my brother Brendan did in baby pics - also known as Brenny and Bren.

Love Caleb too and it suits him as well.

Congratulations, he's gorgeous x

BTW making me v broody. I was determined I was done at 2. Rediscovering footage of DDs as babies, and now newborn pics are making me wonder...

Dontrocktheboat · 13/01/2017 11:46

I think he looks like a Nathaniel - has a nice meaning too, 'gift'.

Good luck choosing!

FestiveStinkyPants · 13/01/2017 11:47

Mason?

Mason Strachan sounds good

NameChange30 · 13/01/2017 11:49

I think James, Rory or Sam would suit him.

BillyButtfuck · 13/01/2017 19:16

Macauley

He looks like an Ethan to me!! Congratulations, beautiful boy

Buntysoven · 13/01/2017 23:35

What a delicious baby! 😘Well done OP! I think he looks like a Kieran.

EekBarbaraItsaDalek · 13/01/2017 23:39

Congratulations on your gorgeous boy. What about Phillip?

Pixilicious · 13/01/2017 23:39

Gruffalosgrandma · 13/01/2017 23:44

That's a William .

Lovetunnocks · 13/01/2017 23:46

Lewis. No idea why, he just looks like one. Congratulations! :)

Minnie747 · 13/01/2017 23:46

Caleb is great. What about Jonah/Jonas?

Earlgreywithmilk · 13/01/2017 23:50

Fergus? Angus? Conan (means 'little wolf')? - I mentioned it on the 'mystic names' thread the other day I really like it. All good strong names.

OMG OP he's gorgeous! Congratulations. Love the suggestions of Gabriel Fergus and Reuben. We have a Finlay (which I suspect is a top 50 - certainly in Scotland) and an Aidan.

chocolatepudandchocolatesauce · 14/01/2017 00:38

He looks like a Logan to me :) he is cute. Congratulations

schmack · 14/01/2017 00:43

Caleb is close, maybe a Calvin?

PotatoMcKale · 14/01/2017 00:56

If it helps, I had my child's name picked at 20 weeks as soon as we found out the sex. Name was definite and then when he was born it just didn't seem like his name for some inexplicable reason - every name seemed wrong. We stuck with the chosen name because nothing else seemed rightamd he has grown into it and now I can't imagine him having any other name.

If you really love the names you picked when you were pregnant but now it doesn't feel 'right' I suspect that's because it takes time for the bumps names to feel like they could belong to the tiny human you now care for

lashy · 14/01/2017 01:02

Bobby (Robert).
He's gorgeous btw - congratulations 😊

Binglesplodge · 14/01/2017 22:55

Could he be an Angus? He's gorgeous, congratulations.
