I am pregnant with my first child, I don't know if I am having a boy or girl at this point. My favourite name for a girl is Posy. I also love Peony but someone very near me used it so I won't. My OH hates Posy and there is no way he'll ever agree to using it if we have a girl unfortunately. Is it really that awful? I like flower names in general, Violet, Rose and Daisy are all lovely but I feel Posy is more original and less common.

It doesn't sound like a real name to me, but maybe that's because I've never heard it be used. I know a little girl called Rosie and we all call her Rosie posy so that's all I think of.

I'm called Josephine and I bloody wish my nickname was Posy!

I have a ds with a 'marmite' name and I don't regret using it. You will never please everyone.
