We are expecting twins. Can't quite decide.

I don't like two with the -y but neither do I like Bethan (although DD is Bethany so that may be making me biased).
So I would just do Beth and Greg.

CancellyMcChequeface · 18/10/2016 15:43

Beth would have to deal with most people assuming that her real name was Elizabeth. I like Beth and Greg as nicknames, but not for the birth certificate.

Bethany and Gregor sound best to me.
Bethan and Gregor if you really don't want with a y and one without.

twinjocks · 18/10/2016 15:45

Bethan and Gregor

manhowdy · 18/10/2016 15:50

I love Bethany & Gregor.

PotatoBread · 18/10/2016 16:02

Definitely not Bethany and Gregory - it's sounds to matchy matchy. I prefer Bethany and Gregor too but if your adamant that you're not going to mix them up then Bethan and Gregor even though I don't like the name Bethan

SpidersFromMars · 18/10/2016 16:24

Bethan and Gregor if they have to match

Bethany and Gregor if they don't.

(They'll end up Beth and Greg, but I prefer the longer name for Sundays and CV's)

Chinlo · 18/10/2016 16:49

Bethany and Gregor.

crayfish · 18/10/2016 16:51

Bethany and Gregory sounds weird to me, I think it's the doubly 'y'

So by default it's the other option.

minipie · 18/10/2016 16:58

Bethan and Gregory

Or Bethany and Gregory if they have to match

Really don't like Gregor (love Gregory though! And Bethany)

I find Gregor a bIt stuffy to be honest , I think Bethan and Gregory. Maybe you and dp need to work on that flexible mind op and give them the nicest individual names? You don't want to saddle one with a less nice name for some rule you've made that won't matter once they're born anyway but I think Beth and Greg are lovely!

Notso · 18/10/2016 17:09

Bethan and Gregor by miles.

The 'y' names are too matchy-matchy twinny-twinny

Plumbobby · 18/10/2016 17:27

To be fair, it's personal preference... Hmm

NotYoda · 18/10/2016 18:40

Elizabet and Gregory

UnicornPee · 18/10/2016 18:43

Both horrible names I'm afraid. Gregory especially
There's so many nicer names out there

Muser54321 · 18/10/2016 18:43

How many syllables in your sur name?

I like Bethan more than Bethany but I like both
I like Gregory more than Gregor but I like both.

Muser54321 · 18/10/2016 18:45

Or Beth and Greg, forgot to say, I really like all permutations of those names. Good choices.

Bethany and Gregor

YouJustWouldntLetItLieWouldYa · 18/10/2016 18:49

Go with Bethany and Gregory......they'll get Beth and Greg anyways Grin

JasonDerulo · 18/10/2016 18:53

Bethan and Gregory

maitaimojito · 18/10/2016 18:54

Bethan and Gregor. I really don't like the two 'y' endings.

heateallthebuns · 18/10/2016 18:57

Bethan and Gregory. If you're going to shorten them to Beth and Greg anyway why does it matter if they both end y or not? You're hardly ever going to say the names together anyway, it'll be 'the twins' until the have their own identities and are not discussed as one anymore!!!!

InsertUsernameHere · 18/10/2016 18:59

Depends where you live - outside Scotland people will assume the boy is Gregory even if he's Gregor. In Scotland the reverse.

Surf25 · 18/10/2016 19:22

Bethan and Gregor Smile
Congrats on your twin pregnancy. When are you due? We are expecting twins also, although we don't know their sex we do know they are either boys or girls, not one of each. Thinking of names is hard!
