John! Finns are ten a penny.

Finn's are everywhere at the mo and have been for a few years. It's a lovely name so that explains it but it depends if popularity bothers you. Flynn is also lovely and not used so much.

I met a baby John recently and it made me realise that I haven't heard a baby called that in years! I really liked it and it really seems to suit him.

I like Flynn as a first choice (even though you didn't include it as an option ) and then John with Finn last.

Finn is boring and overdone. Flynn is nicer, if you like that sound.

I like Finn, but love John, and it would make a refreshing change around here. Just thought I'd throw Flynn out there too... it's cool.

John is lovely and IMO long overdue a bit of a comeback.*
It's classic, and unlike so many current favourites, will not date.

There won't be 3 other Johns in his class at school, which is more than you can say for all the Finns, Alfies and Archies.

(*but not too much, or it'll turn into another Archie.)
