Which do you prefer?

Double barrelled surname Smile

Charlotte and Juliet are nice names with the "et" ending too Smile

So pretty much 70-30 Violet- Scarlett based on the opinions here OP.

It depends on the person you speak to know.

In contrast to the PP, I dont know any Scarlett's but two of my friends have Violet's both under age one.

Violet is another 'old' name that is come round again, IMO.

I think it is lovely, but please be aware (if the past is anything to go by and it usually is) she will be called 'Vi' a great deal.

Violet is one of those names that can be 2 or 3 syllables, depending on how accurately it is said. Could be irritating if you have a particular pronunciation in mind .( I put into this category Catherine, Barbara, Deborah, Margaret, but most of these are luckily out of fashion at the moment)

Scarlet, but I do love Violet Smile

Violet is a name I really want to like but it just makes me think violent!
Scarlet I'm not keen on the word scar in the name! Just my opinions
