What does everyone think of this name?

I wouldn't go Xavier Zeus because if they hate having an unusual name when they are older then their only choice is to change it by deed poll. If you give them a more mainstream middle name they can just use that.

*He'll either bring good health or death

What a cunty thing to say!!

TroysMammy · 17/08/2016 18:34

IslandLife that's a bit harsh. Have you looked up what the Greek God Apollo is about? God of medicine and healing but also God of ill health and deadly plague.

IslandLife · 17/08/2016 18:38

I studied Latin and classical studies at A Level, so yes thank you, I'm well aware of the meaning. Suggesting that naming a baby might bring death is a shitty thing to say though!

I think it's awful. And Zeus, that's even worse .

Both make me think of Greek statues with their bollocks on show. Sorry.

I like Xavier though.

Don't mind it

RedLarvaYellowLarva · 22/08/2016 19:24

Absolutely love it.
I like Xavier too but I don't think it's good enough next to Apollo.

SorenaJ · 23/08/2016 08:54

Apollo is great!
