Thoughts on the name Michael?

I'm unsure... I like it, but then I don't. Thoughts?

I like Michael, it's very popular in the states, loads who are now middle aged and older. Not so much babies nowadays.

If you like it, go for it.

My ds has a name everyone said would be shortened, he's nearly 15 now and still gets his full name (or more likely our distinct surname). He also has friends called David and Stephen who don't get Dave or Steve.

You could shorten it to Cal if you dont like Mike/Mickey

I don't think it's due a revival just yet.

I love it. I know a couple of Michaels, and there's a mix of whether they are called Mike, Mick or Michael. Depends on the person.
