A name for Edward's brother?

Really struggling, Harry, George and Joe are already 'taken' by close family members. I really like Henry George but DP really doesn't. Any suggestions please?

Thanks all! I do like Freddie to go with Eddie Grin . Any thoughts on Henry at all?

My DS is Tobias Edward!

TrixieBernadette · 01/06/2016 16:13

I love Henry. And George (but see that's out). What about Adam? Or James. Alexander. William. Jonathan. Jacob. Samuel. Albert.

pieceofpurplesky · 01/06/2016 16:31

Eddie and Zach.
Not Eddie and Freddie. Just no.
Henry is not my favourite name so can't comment.
Eddie and George
Eddie and Finn

Henry Max

Dogolphin · 01/06/2016 17:13

My first thought was Henry, perfect in fact. I also suggest Hector, Gregory, James, Matthew and George.

Dogolphin · 01/06/2016 17:15

Sorry, just seen that George is taken!

FraggleMountain · 01/06/2016 17:19

Love Henry! I also really like Francis or Frank

MotherOfGlob · 01/06/2016 17:22

Loads of good suggestions on here, thanks. Will show DP this thread and see if we can come to an agreement Confused as I'm due this Sunday.

I have an Edward, known as Eddie and if DD had been a boy we chose the name Francis (to go by Frankie or Frank). I also like Joseph.

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 01/06/2016 17:25

Before opening thread I was going to say Henry.

MotherOfGlob · 01/06/2016 17:25

Fraggle and Tuda Francis is one of DP's choices, it was his dad's name. Frankie is a possibility.

MotherOfGlob · 01/06/2016 17:26

Still think Henry is perfect though Grin

Some of the names mentioned have already been taken by the family. Edward is such a lovely name. You might like Oscar but I think it's become very popular. I have a Toby Oliver (and Oliver was not popular when I chose it nearly 45 years ago!) and we've only met one other Toby but I suspect that's becoming popular. And 50 years ago I chose Daniel and it was unheard of but not so now. Henry's ok but your DH doesn't like it does he. Some of the names in the thread are starting to remind me of "Thomas the Tank Engine" names and yes there is an engine called Toby. My grandson is Finlay which is quite unusual and Angus was on the short list. Other than that I only have grand daughters with beautiful names!
