What do you think of these names for boy/girl twins? We've been through every name list ever and these seem to be the only names we agree on. (Taken on board the 'Mabel' thread - can see it's a marmite name.)

We have a Ted (Theodore) he prefers Theo, his friends call him Theo, but he is Ted to us

Love them.

Thanks for comments - I've never seen the spelling Maybelle, but quite like it.

sonly, is that an ironic comment given that your Teddy was originally named after the great Theodore Roosevelt, who was himself once a baby?!

I guess they go but I'm definitely on the marmite 'hate' side for Teddy and Mabel. I like Theo and Belle though.

I love them both. I wanted to call DS Teddy, but DH vetoed Edward and two friends already had a Theodore. I would call Mabel by her full name just because there are so many primary school Isabelles around who go by Belle or Bella, but that might have calmed down a bit now!

Thanks for thoughts, really helpful. I do get why people love them or hate them - I think that's what makes me cautious and I know family and friends will have the same reactions either way.

On one hand, people will always differ in opinions and that's life, but no-one wants to land their children with names they'll regret!

Gorgeous names :)

Love Theo and Teddy, love Belle too but not really sold on Mabel, sorry. Have you thought of just using Belle, especially if you think that's what you'll use day-to-day? I think Theo/Teddy and Belle are a really matched pair of names BTW. I have a twin brother and it's great growing up as a twin. Congratulations!

Lovely choices op!!

My dad is called Theodore and he gets called Ted (which is also a nickname for Edward apparently, my friends as just used this!). I prefer Theo to Ted (just for that reason - always think of my 75 year old dad!). Mabel is sweet. She could also be called May or Belle. I love these names :)

Lovely! I think Theodore is getting pretty popular now, if that bothers you.
