What do you think of these names for boy/girl twins? We've been through every name list ever and these seem to be the only names we agree on. (Taken on board the 'Mabel' thread - can see it's a marmite name.)

Quercus3 · 30/05/2016 10:21

Beautiful, especially adore Mabel

RonaldMcDonald · 30/05/2016 12:39

Love Theodore but not Mabel

KnockMeDown · 30/05/2016 12:42

I think they are beautiful names! Great nicknames for when they are little, but equally lovely for when they are older. And a few different options on the NN's too. All good! Grin

Skrewt · 30/05/2016 12:44

Gorgeous though I prefer Maybelle to Mabel.

Spudlet · 30/05/2016 12:45

We have a Teddy, though his proper name is Edward Smile

ProseccoPoppy · 30/05/2016 12:45

If it's "Belle" you like as a shortening for Mabel would you consider Annabelle or Isabelle? Little more mainstream perhaps? I don't dislike Mabel it's just to me that's the name of the Blue Peter dog.

JennyOnAPlate · 30/05/2016 13:10

I love ted/teddy but prefer it as a shortening of Edward.

NoCapes · 30/05/2016 13:11

Theodore would get Theo, not Teddy

I've got a Teddy I've had him since I was a baby he's a bit tatty now but I still love him. Not keen on it for a baby though nor mabel it's not a nice name at all

TurquoiseMoon · 30/05/2016 13:30

I'm not keen on Theodore or Mabel, but like Teddy and Belle Smile

moobear14 · 30/05/2016 13:46

Love them! Smile

Pinklily1 · 30/05/2016 18:02

I think both are lovely.

My natural instinct for an abbreviation of Theodore would be Theo, however, it can be shortened to Teddy as well.

MardleBum · 30/05/2016 18:05

Teddy works fine for Theodore but Belle is a bit of a stretch to far for Mabel. If you like Belle then just call her Belle. Although personally I don't like Belle and prefer Mabel.

Ilovewillow · 30/05/2016 18:17

Theodore and Mabel - absolutely lovely!

Chrisinthemorning · 30/05/2016 18:20

Lovely names, love that you are giving them "proper" names and shortening them.
