Sylvie?

Hi,
What's your opinion on the name Sylvie? Do you know any?
Sylvie has been front runner for a while but having a wobble now I'm close to my due date...

I like that too but Dh isn't keen, never likes any of the names I suggest

I know a baby Sylvie. Lovely name

I have a Silvia. Elegant, strong and timeless.
I considered Lydia for similar reasons.

I LOVE it, wanted Sylvana nn Sylvie for one of DDs but wasn't to be

It's lovely was definitely on the list for dd2, but it sounds odd with our surname...

Don't know any, I think I met one who was German I think!

I have a 2 year old Sylvia and I still adore the name. She gets called Sylvie by various family members and it does sound gorgeous. I've not met any other Sylvia's but I've met one Sylvie.

I have loved it ever since I read Sylvie and Bruno as a child!

It's my daughter's middle name. I love it, it's so chic and makes me think of all things French, and Sylvie Guillem of course.
