Think we have finally whittled name choices down to two girls names and would appreciate opinions please! :) we already have a daughter called Isla so would like it to go with her name too.

So.. Poppy or Imogen? What do you think?

Thanks for the votes everyone. I forgot to add, even though we do love Imogen, I'm a bit worried about having two names beginning with I, do you think it sounds silly with Isla or am I just over thinking? It's so much pressure trying to find the perfect name lol!

Imogen is lovely, but not sure Imogen Isla works.

Allalonenow · 21/05/2016 01:41

Oh, just realized Isla is your other daughter's name, not a middle name with Imogen.
So, I don't think it's a problem having two I initials.

FabFiveFreddie · 21/05/2016 01:54

Poppy.

Also, I share a first initial and surname with a brother. To this day we still open each other's mail which still gets sent to parents' house (dormant bank accounts, that sort of stuff). So I would avoid same initials.

NoncommittalToSparkleMotion · 21/05/2016 02:24

Imogen. I don't think having the same initial as a sibling is an issue.

KoalaDownUnder · 21/05/2016 02:57

Imogen - all the way! Classy, elegant, beautiful.

Poppy sounds...ploppy. And slightly cutesy. Do not love.

TeradelFuego · 21/05/2016 03:06

Imogen is lovely and classy, I agree.
Poppy is nice enough, but quite cutesy as Koala said.

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 21/05/2016 05:14

Poppy

Ludways · 21/05/2016 05:49

Imogen is better with Isla than Poppy IMO

cosmicglittergirl · 21/05/2016 05:49

jetSTAR · 21/05/2016 06:42

Imogen Smile

Barefootcontessa84 · 21/05/2016 08:18

Imogen by a mile - Poppy much too cutesy for my taste.

julfin · 21/05/2016 09:11

Imogen. I don't think the two i-names sound at all silly. They sound lovely together.

NapQueen · 21/05/2016 09:13

Poppy.

Angrybird234 · 21/05/2016 10:30

Imogen

Nham123 · 21/05/2016 18:50

Thank you everyone Smile I agree that Imogen is lovely and classy, and although a lot of people do think Poppy is cutesy, I have always had a soft spot for it!
