Just buzz is so much better than Buzley.

Freezingwinter · 16/02/2016 15:54

Buzz is OK. Buzley looks ridiculous written down, and said out loud. Sorry!

WingMirrorSpider · 16/02/2016 15:55

Buzleys are ten a penny round here so I wouldn't go with it personally.

Woodenmouse · 16/02/2016 15:55

Busby would be ok, shortened to buzz but I'm still not 100% sure about it!

Aquiver · 16/02/2016 15:58

I'm afraid Buzzley sounds like a cartoon/animated movie character's name...

You could use Buzz as a nickname (like the famous Buzz Aldrin)?

Allalonenow · 16/02/2016 15:58

I like FlashBuzz best. (Or Balonz!)

originalmavis · 16/02/2016 16:01

Oooh Buzz Aldrin's real name is Edwin. Who'd've thunk it wasn't Buzz (short for Buzkey, or Buzzard or summit)?

magpie17 · 16/02/2016 16:03

Hahaa, Buzley!!

Don't do it. There must be at least one name on the spectrum between 'boring' Charles and 'made-up' Buzley that you and your partner can agree on? FWIW I like Charles though.

MitzyLeFrouf · 16/02/2016 16:06

I put Buzley into google images and this dapper chap appeared.

Buzley
originalmavis · 16/02/2016 16:16

Chazley?

SirChenjin · 16/02/2016 16:23

For heaven's sake - at least do it right and make it younique

Buzz-Leigh

Bu-Zleee

Busss-l'ee

Tsk.

originalmavis · 16/02/2016 16:25

Can you triple barrel?

Bu-huz-leigh

MitzyLeFrouf · 16/02/2016 16:26

That wife of that person from Busted who puts his life on youtube has had a baby today.

Buddy Bob.

They already have a Buzz.

SpotOn · 16/02/2016 16:27

Well I think it's great.

And his brother can be called Oakley.

Perfect.

Woodenmouse · 16/02/2016 16:27

For heaven's sake - at least do it right and make it younique

Buzz-Leigh

Bu-Zleee

Busss-l'ee

Tsk.

Haha love it!

originalmavis · 16/02/2016 16:29

Actually 'Younique' has a certain ring to it. Or 'Yelzzub'.

trevortrevorslatterfry · 16/02/2016 16:34

Buzleys are ten a penny round here so I wouldn't go with it personally

wing Grin

Yelzzub - sounds like it could be short for B'yelzzbub mavis

mouldycheesefan · 16/02/2016 16:39

Hmm, there is a sting in the tail with this name...

GiddyGiddyGoat · 16/02/2016 16:57

Good God. That's all. As you were.

MyKingdomForBrie · 16/02/2016 17:05

It just sounds so ugly.. and silly. Buzz is a nickname which has been taken up as a name. Buzley your DH has actually just made up. I mean all names start somewhere but some just shouldn't start at all..

Twitterqueen · 16/02/2016 17:40

I once embarrassed myself massively by laughing at a Christmas card a colleague sent to me, signed by her but with her children's names. I thought it was a joke. Blush The below are close approximations - I daren't put the real ones on in case she's on here...

Beverleigh
Kennerdeigh
Kimberleigh

I also know a Trisa - which I assume is Theresa

GiddyGiddyGoat · 16/02/2016 17:45

There's an idea op - Buz-leigh!

Goingtobeawesome · 16/02/2016 18:08

If you are sad at the thought of him being one of a 100 Charlie's you are very silly to call him, Charlie.

OhShutUpThomas · 16/02/2016 18:16

Makes me think of that kid in Home Alone.

It's an awful name OP. It's not even a name really, just a word. Please don't saddle your kid with it.

OSETmum · 16/02/2016 21:20

Seriously?! Confused
