Short solid but underused boys nanes

.....But dh doesn't but we do want a short solid but uncommon/not overly popular name.
Please give me some ideas. Baby needs a name now!

All the old "disciple" names are pretty much unused in my DCs school. So that would be names like Mark, Luke, John, Simon, Peter.

Really? Maybe an area thing? My son is the only Sam in a school of 350! How funny!

My Sam is one of only 2 in a school of 180. Other than that, we only know one other. I wouldn't say it's common at all. There are certainly more common names that are repeated several times in his class.

Maybe it's just my family with all the Sams then. We have 2 x grandpa Sams, nephew Sam, neighbour toddler Sam, ds2 Middle name Samuel, ds2 and ds3 best friends are Sam. How weird it's uncommon elsewhere, it feels they are everywhere around us!
