Our boys name - Silas or Angus

Need more help with boys name please! Any thoughts on Angus or Silas? Quite different from each other but I think we like both...

Angus.

Gus for short is cool.

Not so keen on Silas.

Definitely Angus. Silas sounds sinister!

I like Silas. The Silas in the Bible was an early Christian leader and a missionary companion of Paul. Silas in George Eliot's "Silas Marner" is a positive character. So not sinister at all!

Angus! I love it.

Angus. Silas makes me think of the mean guy in the Da Vinci Code and silage which is some sort of farm hay/cow poo mixture (I think!)

Love Angus! Sounds Scottish, strong, cool. At the very worst it's a delicious kind of steak.

Im afraid I can't think of many names I like less that Sylas. Silas makes me think of: Silo... and erm Sylar from heroes.

Ah yes, silage that's what I was thinking of. Fermented grass. It's got quite a distinctive aroma (but no actual cow poo)

Angus- it's a fabulous name. I'd like someone called Angus even before is net then.

Angus. I've got one - now 15 and he's either Angus or Gus (desperately trying to drop Gussie which is not good!)
Mind you, Silas is nice!
