Our boys name - Silas or Angus

Need more help with boys name please! Any thoughts on Angus or Silas? Quite different from each other but I think we like both...

Silas reminds me of the serial killer in hollyoaks

Angus. Fab name.

Don't like either but Angus is better. Silas is pretty ugly sounding and makes me think of Silas Marner. I know he turned out to be good in the end but I still can't get past the fact that he was a miser so to me Silas = miser. And yes it also sounds like silage...

Like them both, but much prefer Angus.

I really like Angus. I also really like the name Magnus, not sure if you'd consider it. They seem to have the same sort of vibe to me.

Silas I have never really thought about before. I prefer Angus, but then maybe Silas would grow on me once it was attached to a lovely little baby.

I have just asked dh, and he would prefer to be called Silas out of the two.

Angus, but my form tutor was called Angus (he obviously didn't go by it) and when people found out his name, they all took the piss... Gus is okay and a good NN
