Amelie?

What are people's opinions on this name? Also any middle name suggestions welcome! Thanks

Blimey the opinions on here are so warped sometimes.

Why on earth it was important for the OP to get her sister's consent to a name that's different to her niece's (whether they sound similar or not) is beyond me! No one owns a name.

The grandparents thing is ridiculous too. I know of cousins with exactly the same name, or variations thereof (think Mark and Marcus). It's not a problem!!

Amelie is a beautiful name. Use it OP! Your baby, your choice and there's just no need to follow such stupid rules.

Amelie is a lovely name. I know 3 in DC's classes but we are near France so thats why. In DS1's class there was Amelie, Amelie, Emily, Emily, Evie and Ellie. It all got very confusing
