I like Albie and Arlo. Thinking of having William as the second name so Albie-William Arlo-William. Just would like a few more that I like. His last name will be Turner Grin

I like Albie. Arlo sounds like the place Harlow with the 'H' dropped to me.

Albie William Turner is lovely.

DiorSausage · 13/12/2015 22:28

I think Arlo Turner sounds pretty cool!

Not keen on Albie (the racist dragon).

Otis?

IguanaTail · 13/12/2015 22:28

You like the soft L sound.

Milo?
Leo?
Leon?

Sorry! You asked for suggestions, not opinions.

Theo?

DiorSausage · 13/12/2015 22:30

Linus?

Chloeisobelle21 · 13/12/2015 22:32

I do like Theo a lot, I really love Albie but had some negative reactions from people saying its a bit of a wimpy name Hmm

What's the racist dragon?! Haha

Miles/Milo?
Leo/Leon

Tartyflette · 13/12/2015 22:35

Can't see anything wimpy about Albie, it's just a derivation of Albert, isn't it? (A good old-fashioned name that is coming back into fashion. Which is nice)

Tartyflette · 13/12/2015 22:37

So, re Albert, how about Bert or Bertie?

Chloeisobelle21 · 13/12/2015 22:38

Yes it is a derivation of Albert, I like old fashioned names but it's got a bit of a twist so it's nice. I already have a daughter called Grace, so I think they go well together. I love Milo but that's the name of my mums cat haha!

William Turner was Orlando Bloom in Pirates of the Caribbean. Some wouldn't mind, but some will. Just fyi.

SoWhite · 13/12/2015 22:48

LOVE Albie the racist dragon.

Sophronia · 13/12/2015 22:56

I'd prefer Albert William with Albie as a nickname.

Domino777 · 13/12/2015 23:11

Are you having a hyphen in the name?

Wilf

Clueing4looks · 13/12/2015 23:16

Lenny
Silas
Harley
Miles

Oysterbabe · 13/12/2015 23:50

I thought of Albie the racist dragon too :D

DonkeysDontRideBicycles · 15/12/2015 08:05

Arlo William Turner, like it.
I reckon as names go Albie will be cute until he's around 10.

Poppins27 · 15/12/2015 08:19

I love Albie, but I'm slightly biased as Albert is our top choice at the moment so we can use either Albie or Bert/ie when we meet our DS. I thought a few people would screw their faces up to a baby Albert but it's been well received so far.

celtictoast · 15/12/2015 09:13

Leo
Lucas
George
James
Samuel
Charles/Charlie

tuilamum · 15/12/2015 09:43

Joel
Oliver (can be shortened to Ollie/Olli/Oli - spelling can matter to kids, especially teens)
Eliot (with however many l's and t's you want)
Eli (as a name or a nn for Eliot)
Also Albie can be spelt Alby just to give you another option Smile

brookeberry · 15/12/2015 10:06

I think Albie is lovely.

WhyCantIuseTheNameIWant · 15/12/2015 11:26

Is there a Swedish/Norwegian name 'Albin'?

Might be a bit more 'grownup' for him.

I think albie is cute, but somehow incomplete?

Chloeisobelle21 · 16/12/2015 21:19

Albin is quite cool. Albie is just very soft and not too in your face. I prefer Albie to Albert or Bert/Bertie.
Boys names are so hard! I just want a name that isn't so widely used so when his name is called 5 other kids turn their heads.
