I like both
Lots of MNers and other such like People think Kai is "chavvy" probably because Wayne Rooney and his wife called their child Kai.

It is a MN sin to call your child Kai or Jaiden / Jayden.

Costacoffeeplease · 01/12/2015 23:35

Is it? As I said, what a coincidence

OliviaGrey · 01/12/2015 23:36

Ahaha, maybe! But Grey is a surname and a name. Yeah, Kai doesn't seem too popular and no way is it chavvy! It means ocean :) :) :)

AwfulBeryl · 01/12/2015 23:37

Oh, your last name is Grey...?
I would go for Ronan then as Kai Grey doesn't flow that well.

FoxesSitOnBoxes · 01/12/2015 23:37

I'm with you Costa

AwfulBeryl · 01/12/2015 23:38

In my very humble opinion anyway.

OliviaGrey · 01/12/2015 23:39

Even though Kai Grey doesn't flow that well, Angel will be in there somewhere, to break it up a bit

Costacoffeeplease · 01/12/2015 23:39

Anything to do with Wayne Rooney is obviously 'chavvy' goes without saying Smile

AwfulBeryl · 01/12/2015 23:40

What's with the conspiracy theories ?

Confused
AyeAmarok · 01/12/2015 23:43

Ronan Angel Grey is the best from what you've given.

OliviaGrey · 01/12/2015 23:45

I kinda feel like Angel should be the first name and then Ronan or Kai in the middle

Oh I'm a bit Sad to hear the response to Kai.

DS' name is often shortened to Kai (but spelt differently). DS is 10 so it was before Wayne Rooney went and spoilt it!

I think both are lovely OP but I obviously Kai has sentimental value for me!

Strokethefurrywall · 01/12/2015 23:47

Yes my thoughts exactly Costacoffeeplease

Such a small small world...

OliviaGrey · 01/12/2015 23:49

What's with this small work lark?

OP posts:
AwfulBeryl · 01/12/2015 23:50

Dunno, I don't get it either. You may as well come out and say it instead of leaving not so cryptic clues.

Costacoffeeplease · 01/12/2015 23:52

Nothing cryptic - I've already said, there was a name thread earlier by someone who already had a son called Oliver Grey - such a coincidence to now have a thread by Olivia Grey, it's a small world

OliviaGrey · 01/12/2015 23:53

Which thread? Also, just because they may have the same last name/son has Grey as middle name doesn't mean I have a clue who they are?

OP posts:
AwfulBeryl · 01/12/2015 23:54

Holy shit. You're kidding right ?

Costacoffeeplease · 01/12/2015 23:54

Of course it doesn't, silly, who said it did?

OliviaGrey · 01/12/2015 23:55

You're implying it's a small world...

OP posts:
Poppyclock · 01/12/2015 23:55

Kai is the Maori word for food and in common usage all over New Zealand. Once you don't live here you'll be fine. What about "Kalani"?, that's a Hawaiian name I heard recently.

OliviaGrey · 01/12/2015 23:56

Not sure Kalani suits him, thanks for the suggestion though!

OP posts:
Costacoffeeplease · 01/12/2015 23:56

I'm not implying anything - I've just remarked that it's a small world Confused

OliviaGrey · 01/12/2015 23:58

When someone uses the phrase small world, it usually means that they met someone they know in a place that would be strange to see them or whatever, but that's probs just me :)

Costacoffeeplease · 02/12/2015 00:00

I think two very similar names on the same board, on the same day counts as a coincidence? That's when I use 'a small world' when I come across a coincidence Smile
